Jesse Schold PhD

Director, Center for Populations Health Research , Cleveland Clinic

Dr. Schold received his doctorate degree in Health Services Research from the University of Florida in 2007. Prior to this, he received his bachelor’s degree at Emory University and a Master's degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University. Dr. Schold was a faculty member at the University of Florida with in the departments of Medicine, Health Policy and Epidemiology and Health Services Research until 2009 when he accepted an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Schold currently serves as an Associate Staff member in the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences and Director of Outcomes Research for the Kidney transplant program. He is actively involved in research and has co-authored over 125 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts. Dr. Schold is on the Editorial board for the American Journal of Transplantation and is a Member of the AST kidney pancreas advisory council. Dr. Schold is a primary and co-investigator on several grants from the National Institute of Health, industry and foundation sources and has been invited to speak at numerous national and international forums. His primary research interests include epidemiology, health policy and research methods in the fields of organ transplantation and nephrology.
