Dr. Shoemaker is a Solid Organ Transplant Clinical Pharmacist who joined UVA Health in 2020. She received her Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences and PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed PGY-1 training and then PGY-2 in Solid Organ Transplant at UVA Health. Carson's primary interests include lung transplant and infectious diseases in transplant recipients.
