Chris Hayes PharmD

Chris Hayes is a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist with the Vanderbilt Transplant Pharmacy at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He graduated from the University of Tennessee-Martin and received his doctor of pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2006. He has gained vast experience in multiple areas during his 16 years at Vanderbilt including staff, management and clinical roles. Chris began working directly with the transplant pharmacy as an operations pharmacist in 2016. In 2020, he took on a clinical role with the Vanderbilt Transplant Pharmacy with a focus on the renal transplant clinic, participating in the highest volume Collaborative Pharmacy Practice Agreement at the medical center, which authorizes over 1,500 prescriptions each month. He is also involved as a preceptor for students on rotation with the transplant pharmacy.
