Dr. Sifri is the Clinical Director of The Transplant & Compromised Host Infectious Disease Program and Director, Hospital Epidemiology/Infection Prevention & Control at the University of Virginia Health System. His research interests include infection prevention in compromised hosts, drug resistance bacterial infection epidemiology and management, and innate immune responses to infection.
