Dr. David Mosser is a Professor of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Maryland, College Park, and the Director of the Maryland Pathogen Research Institute. He has studied macrophages and monocytes and their products for more than 20 years. The basic question his laboratory addresses is how leukocytes can mediate host defense while maintaining the integrity of the host.
