Dr Gosta Pettersson was appointed to the Cleveland Clinic Department of Cardiovascular Surgery Staff in 1999, has served as the Surgical Director of the Lung Transplant Program since 2005 and has been the Vice Chairman of the Department since 2005. He has authored or co-authored numerous article and papers in leading scientific journals and book chapters in textbooks on cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery and heart and lung transplantation. His special interests include reconstructive valve surgery, complex reoperations, endocarditis, aortic and mitral valve repair/replacement including the Ross procedure and adult congential heart surgery.
