Harvey Solomon MD FACS

I have over 30 years of experience post fellowship in Transplant Surgery. I was a liver and kidney surgeon for 20 + years. I taught medical students for 7 years in preclinical and clinical courses. I have served on UNOS committees: Scientific advisory, Liver and Intestine, MPSC and as regional representative to the UNOS board of directors. I was on the Board of Directors of Mid-America Transplant OPO and on its foundation board. I served as co-medical director also for several years. I retired from St. Louis University in 2018 as an emeritus professor and since then have been organ retrieval surgeon in Lifeshare Oklahoma and adjunct faculty in the Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. My primary interests are in organ utilization and preservation.
