Hector C. Ramos MD, MS, FACS, HEC-C
Dr. Ramos is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1981. He has fellowships in Vasculary Surgery at Carribbean Cardiovascular Clinic, Kidney Transplantation at U.S.C and Liver Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh under Dr. Thomas Starzl. He has directed and founded two programs in transplantation at University of New Mexico and Tampa General Hospital of the Univesity of South Florida.
A Masters in healthcare ethics fro Creighton University. Has published several articles on healthcare ethics and is currently Chair of Bioethics at PIH Good Samaritan Hospital.
Dr. Ramos is the Chief of Service at Los Angeles County/ USC Medical Center and is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Keck USC School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Surgery , Surgical Critical Care and Healtcare Ethics consultation. A member of The Americal College of Surgeon and The American Society of Bioethics and Humanities.
