Imran Anwar MD

Dr. Imran Anwar is a general surgery resident and currently a T32 Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Knechtle and Kirk’s Laboratories at Duke University. His research interests include prevention of chronic antibody-mediated rejection and novel desensitization strategies, as well as a variety of clinical outcomes research in abdominal transplantation. He received his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2019, his MS in Neuroscience from Tulane University in 2014, and his BS and BA in Neuroscience and Philosophy from Tulane University in 2013.
