Jasleen Kukreja MD, MPH

Dr. Kukreja is a Professor of Surgery and Program and Surgical Director of Lung Transplantation at UCSF. Under her leadership, the UCSF lung transplant program has become the leader in lung transplants with better-than-expected outcomes on SRTR for the last 11 years, the only program in the country to have achieved this outcome. The UCSF Lung Transplant program received the INTERLINK's Chairman's Award for Transplant Excellence earlier this year. Dr. Kukreja has been very involved in trainee education. Her trainees have now gone on to direct lung transplant programs at prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins.
