Javier Solera MD

Dr. Javier T. Solera is a transplant Infectious Diseases international fellow at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada. Previously, he completed his residency at the Hospital "12 de Octubre" in Madrid, Spain. He holds a Master's degree in Statistics in Health Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, and is currently pursuing his PhD for his project titled "Optimization of the management of COVID-19 in Solid Organ Transplant Recipients". Presently, he serves as the chief fellow of the Multiorgan Transplant Program at the Ajmera Transplant Centre. In recognition of his research contributions, he has been honored with the 2022 Ajmera Transplant Centre Research Fellow Award and the Young Investigator Award at the American Transplant Congress 2023. Dr. Solera has been a member of the American Society of Transplantation since 2021.
