Julie Magarian Blander PhD

Julie Magarian Blander received her PhD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University, Department of Immunobiology, New Haven, CT. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Immunology Institute at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. Her research encompasses mechanisms of innate immunity to infections, phagocytosis and antigen presentation, innate recognition and consequences of cell death, and tumor immunotherapy.
