Dr Lachlan McMichael is a nephrologist & early career clinician-researcher. He is currently undertaking a Research Fellowship in Vancouver, Canada under the supervision of Professor John Gill. He completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide, Australia. He completed his residency at Central Adelaide Local Health Network and completed his Nephrology training at the Central and Northern Adelaide Renal & Transplantation Service. He has completed post-training fellowships in Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian & New Zealand College of Physicians and has completed a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) through the University of Sydney, Australia. Dr Lachlan McMichael is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide. His research program will be focused on analysing kidney transplant demand, costing workup for kidney transplantation, and developing novel referral pathways for patients with kidney failure.
