Dr. Maria Aurora Posadas Salas is a transplant nephrologist and Professor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is the program director of the Transplant Nephrology fellowship. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, Nephrology fellowship at Northwestern McGaw Medical Center, and Transplant Nephrology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has authored several publications focusing on the clinical outcomes of kidney transplant recipients and living donors.
