Dr Michaels is a Pediatric Infectious diseases specialist at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She co-directs the transplant infectious diseases program and has spent a number of years working with immunocompromised hosts as well as conducting research related to treating and preventing the infections that these children encounter.
