Mizna Akbar is a second year medical student at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She received her B.A. in Global Studies with a minor in Arabic & Islamic Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research interests include kidney and liver transplant policy and ethics, organ donation, and immigrant/refugee health.
