Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim is currently a physician/scientist and assistant professor of transplant nephrology in the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He has completed his clinical transplant nephrology fellowship in Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri in 2022. Dr. Ibrahim has conducted basic and translational science research in wound healing and fibrosis in Duke University, Durham, North Carolina between 2012 and 2019. Then he completed his general nephrology training in University at Buffalo, State University of New York, then he completed the transplant nephrology training in Washington University in Saint Louis. He has co-authored more than 60 journal articles and was invited to give a TEDx talk in 2018. Dr. Ibrahim holds 5 patents and patent applications for innovations in bio-sensing, and is currently completing his PhD in Bio-sensing from Erasmus University. Dr. Ibrahim's research has initiated multiple international research collaborations in South Korea, Singapore, China, Egypt and The Netherlands. He is deeply interested in advancing medical technology and is passionate about improving the standard of care in transplant monitoring
