Shivani Bisen BA

Shivani Bisen is a medical student at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She completed her B.A. in Public Health Studies and the Psychological and Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University in 2020. While at Hopkins, Shivani worked as a Research Assistant on the Wellness and Health Outcomes of LivE (WHOLE) Donors Study within the Epidemiology Research Group in Organ Transplantation. It is here that she confirmed her desire to pursue a surgical career with a strong research element. Since matriculating at the Grossman School of Medicine, Shivani has continued her pursuits to better understand post-donation outcomes and the field of transplantation as a whole. Her research interests are outcomes research, equity in access to and outcomes following transplant, transplant surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery.
